Join fellow first responders at this one day networking symposium. Co-sponsored by the UAS Cluster Initiative and Kansas State University Polytechnic Campus, plan to attend to discuss advancing UAS operations for first responders in Kansas and beyond.

The symposium provides focused time to network and learn from first responder agencies at all levels of UAS operation integration. Divisions just considering implementing UAS technology can learn from veterans already effectively using regularly utilizing UAS.

Specific topics that will be covered include:

  • Creating a UAS operation in your division and the return on investment
  • Part 107 operations versus public operations, the benefits and challenges of each
  • Updates on the state of UAS industry and the impact on first responders

NETWORKING SESSION

Organizations are encouraged to display their organization and current UAS initiatives if applicable during the afternoon networking session. This time will provide an opportunity for organizations to share details about their work with co-attendees. Middle school attendees participating in UAS Commander will also attend to learn more about first responders in the state and UAS initiatives.

Organizations may indicate on their registration form if they would like to table. Displays may include UAS aircraft, literature, photos, reports, or other related materials to showcase the work of the organization.
